AKA Swiss Cheese Plant, Fruit Salad Plant
Native to Mexico, the Monstera Deliciosa has become a staple plant in everyone's home. They are very easy to care for and enjoy a bit of sunlight and humidity to keep it happy but will forgive you if it doesn't receive it. As the plant matures the leaves develops holes. The technical term for plants making holes is leaf fenestration and that's what gives the monstera its unique look.
Hints:
Don't forget wipe its leaves with a damp cloth.
The aerial roots absorb nutrients from the surrounding air in the environment and help the plant climb however the roots can damage walls.
Please note you will receive a similar plant as shown in the picture in the relevant size selected. As with all living things no two plants are the same - there may be some very slight variation from the plant pictured.
